The Rik Reese band will open for Grammy award winners, The Kentucky Headhunters on Oct 4th. Show will take place in Perth Andover, New Brunswick at the Perth Andover Civic Center. This show marks Rik's second time opening for TKHH.
A successful 2014 tour of Alberta has the band already back home planning a 2015 return to the western province. The band's 'audience captivating show' has lead to invitations to return as early as spring 2015.

After a successful 10 year tenure (2003-2013), Rik Reese has retired his band name, NEON HIGHWAY. The band has saw an evolution of members in the past decade and with recent departures, Rik has decided now was the right time to retire the NEON HIGHWAY name in the memory of previous bassist, Pete King. The changes will see the launch of Rik's exciting new project aptly known as, RIk Reese Band.

2009: Rik Reese & Neon Highway win for top Canadian video in response to a North American wide contest sponsored by Sennheiser. The contest called for entries to demonstrate their appreciation of quality sound and products and how they would allocate the winnings. After much deliberation, video submission by Rik Reese & NH was chosen as the top Canadian submission and second overall for North America. The band now exclusively uses Sennheiser microphone products.
